El VfB Stuttgart buscaba delantero desde el mercado invernal,se quiso a Lasogga,no se pudo,y finalmente vino Macheda como parche temporal,el joven jugador del United no funcionó,y Bobic se puso en marcha de nuevo.Lasogga decidió quedarse en Berlin,y entonces Bobic tuvo claro que quería a Abdellaoue,el jugador conocedor de la liga,y que ha tenido dos grandes años en el Hannover 96,con buenos números y buen rendimiento.

Las negociaciones parecían complicadas,pero finalmente el Hannover se ha portado excelentemente,facilitando la salida del jugador que deseaba irse,y ha aceptado la primera oferta del VfB. Aunque no se conocen cifras oficialmente,todo apunta a que el fichaje se ha cerrado en 3,5 millones de euros,y el contrato quizá incluya algunos pluses por objetivos,por los cuales el Hannover 96 ingresaría otros 500.000 euros hasta llegar a los 4 millones deseados desde el primer momento.El jugador noruego vestirá el dorsal 25 y firma con el VfB Stuttgart hasta 2017,garantizando así delantera para rato con él e Ibisevic (2016).
