El extremo derecho del Real Betis Israel David Bascón, a quien el club verdiblanco comunicó hace unas fechas que no renovaría el contrato que expira mañana, ha llegado a un acuerdo para fichar por el Xerez CD.

Según confirmaron a Efe fuentes próximas al jugador, Israel se incorporará al cuadro jerezano para las tres próximas temporadas por petición expresa de Juan Merino, el nuevo entrenador del conjunto azulino.

Israel, de 24 años, debutó en el primer equipo del Betis en 2005 con Lorenzo Serra Ferrer como entrenador y el jugador aún estaba en edad juvenil, mientras que también militó como cedido durante una temporada en el Mérida.

En la pasada campaña, el jugador nacido en Utrera (Sevilla), disputó 28 encuentros oficiales entre Liga y Copa del Rey con el equipo sevillano.
