El seleccionador del equipo de Ghana, el serbio Milovan Rajevac, desveló una preselección de 30 jugadores, sin sorpresas, para una concentración de preparación en Francia del 24 al 29 de mayo, previa al Mundial de Sudáfrica 2010.

Todas las estrellas de las 'Estrellas Negras', entre ellas Michael Essien (Chelsea), que se recupera de una lesión de rodilla, figuran en la lista.

Kevin-Prince Boateng (Portsmouth) también fue llamado por el técnico balcánico.

Cuatro jugadores locales, entre ellos tres porteros, también forman parte de la preselección.

En el grupo D del Mundial 2010, Ghana, en su segunda participación tras Alemania-2006, se medirá a Serbia el 13 de junio, a Australia el 19 de junio y Alemania el 23 de junio.
